About Us

Nichols & Sons Contracting LLC is a family-driven handyman and property maintenance company built on craftsmanship, kindness, and community. We proudly serve Southern New Hampshire with a simple mission: to help people, take pride in our work, and treat every home with the same care we give our own.

I’m Steve, the owner and primary handyman out in the field. Most days, it’s just me — but every once in a while, you’ll see my two young sons (10 and 12) learning the ropes or my brother-in-law helping out. My wife handles all the behind-the-scenes work: social media, accounting, scheduling, networking, and everything that keeps this business running smoothly.
We are truly a family team.

Where It All Began

My passion for woodworking and fixing things started when I was a kid. I grew up in shop classes, woodworking programs, and watching the carpenters in my family work. I was always building something, repairing something, or trying to learn something new. Later on, I gained experience in plumbing and home repairs, which helped me turn my love for hands-on work into a professional skill set.

Helping others has always been at my core  whether it’s repairing a railing, improving a home’s safety, or easing the stress of a homeowner or landlord. Every job is a chance to make someone’s day a little easier.

Our Family Values

We believe in doing work the right way, treating people with respect, and building relationships that last. That’s why we communicate clearly, show up when we say we will, and stand behind our workmanship.

And while we work hard throughout the week, Sundays are always kept as family day a time to recharge, reconnect, and stay true to what this business is built on: family, balance, and purpose.

We’ll get back to you promptly with how we can assist, along with our rates and available scheduling options.

4. Appointment Reminders
You’ll receive a reminder text the day before your appointment, and on the day of, we’ll send an ETA so you know exactly when to expect us.

We’ll arrive on time, treat your home as if it were our own, and walk you through every step of the process from start to finish.
